Mental Health Lab

Nurses must be well trained in mental health assessment, therapeutic communication, crisis intervention, and psychiatric care to effectively support individuals with emotional and psychological needs. The Mental Health Nursing Laboratory provides structured training to help students develop essential skills such as patient assessment, counseling techniques, behavior observation, mental status examination, documentation, and development of individualized care plans.

Our Mental Health Nursing Lab is spacious, well-equipped, and designed to simulate real-life psychiatric care settings. The lab includes demonstration models, counseling setups, audio-visual learning aids, and case-based training resources to enhance practical understanding. It is guided and supervised by experienced psychiatric nursing faculty and mental health professionals who ensure students gain confidence, competence, and compassionate skills necessary for holistic patient care.
